The Long Story:

Hmmm, my corner of the internets. Welcome.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Esther Fox. Esther is actually my middle name, but I started going by it a few years ago. My maiden name is Meehan, so those that do know me, know that I previously went by Cryssy Meehan.

I was born and raised in a smallish town in Central New Jersey, and lived there until I moved with my family to Las Vegas. Click  the map below to see all the places I’ve lived. I now currently reside in Philadelphia, PA with my husband, Mr. Fox, and our four cats.

I graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh SHS in Plymouth Meeting, PA in 2004, but I also went to Carmel High School in Carmel, IN from 2000-2003. In addition to those, I also went to Central Montco Technical High School, where I studied Engineering Technology.

Since starting my college education in 2004, I went on several different career paths. After starting with architecture, I went to graphic design, then business, then back to graphic design, then photography. In the middle of all of those different journeys, I developed a love of web development and design. After a good kick in the butt from a good friend and colleague, Dr. Greg Magnusson of Leo’s Pet Care in Indianapolis (as well as my family and friends), I decided that was my calling. I will be finishing up my last semester at Ivy Tech Community College through distance learning this fall, and will attend Montgomery County Community College for a degree in Web Design and Development, and Digital Media Production. Needless to say, it’s taken me a long time to get to where I’m at now, but the journey was worth it.

My other passions include knitting (I am shamelessly addicted to yarn), photography (more of a hobby than anything else, though I was at one point pursuing it career-wise), blogging (well, duh), food (I love to eat and try new restaurants), and general geekery. I am all about Apple and their products, and you will very rarely see me without either my iPhone or my iPad. I also love Nikon cameras, and shoot with a Nikon D7000 and a 50 f/1.8D AF lens.

So that’s Esther. The primary focus of this blog will be a mix of everything. An outlet for my creativity, of sorts.
