Today’s #reverb11/#resound11 prompt comes from Megan over at Everlasting Present:
Passion: What did you become/continue to be sincerely passionate about in 2011? When you are in the moment doing something you love what does look + feel like?
This prompt seemed to come at the perfect time, since today was the last day of my photo classes for the semester, and I was looking for an excuse to post the photos I chose for my final portfolio for my PHOT107 class.
The last couple semesters have been a huge learning experience for me. I’ve not only grown as an artist and photographer, but I’ve also grown as a student. I’ve gotten thicker skin over the last few months. I’ve learned not to take crap from anyone, including instructors. I’ve learned how to use light properly. I’ve gone out of my comfort zone. I know that’s a smorgasbord of things, but each one of them true.
So I believe it’s safe to say that my passion for 2011 is photography. Granted, I’ve been passionate about it for a good chunk of years now, I think I’ve honed my skills and decided where it’s at. As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I love being able to capture moments, and seeing the smile on the clients face when they see the end result.
And now, I am going to share with you some selections from my final portfolio.
